1. If he likes hunting, buy him one of those camoflauge backpacks and put a small gift in each one of the pockets (a new fishing lure, a bottle of cologne, or a new tool) with a note on the backpack saying “Everything for the man I love.”
   
   
2. If he is a traveler and is gone a lot.  You can still be romantic.  If he packs his suitcase, sneak in after its packed and put a love note into each rolled up sock (if you pack his bag it’s a lot easier to do this).  So, each day he puts on a pair of socks he will think of you.  This is important and good to remind him of you especially when he is away from you.  This makes sure you are in his mind at the start of every day he is gone!
   
   
3. Scavenger hunt that is easy and doesn’t cost a thing.  Leave a note on the front door in a heart shape or fire shape and say “A scavenger hunt awaits for you this day, so hurry up and be on your way.  The fire in my heart burns for you so bright…find this firelight.”  The clue will lead him to a fireplace (if you don’t have a fireplace light a candle and put it somewhere).  By the fireplace or candle put a small token of love (I put his favorite magazine or newspaper.  The next clue should then be sitting by the fireplace/candle and it could be on a circle or stick with the heart theme and it might read “The heavens smiled down on me the day that we met.  I am thankful of this love and I count and savor each minute and hour with you that I get.” The clue will lead him to a clock.   At the clock have a bottle of wine or his favorite drink (beer, whatever as long as he is of legal age!).  On the bottle of wine or bottle of favorite beer have another clue taped.  This one could read “You have found something special to read and something special to drink let this last clue lead you to a place with a sink.  Take off an item of clothes with each step you make and don’t forget the gifts for these you will need to take.  The clue should lead him to the bathroom where there is a tub hopefully.  Have the tub filled with water and bubbles.  There should be a glass sitting there and a towel for him by the tub waiting.  I usually have soft music playing in the bathroom and one rose sitting in a vase and the rose petals of another rose in the water floating.  Now, it is your choice if you want to join him in the tub for a soak (then you will need two glasses and two towels) or if you want to give him time to relax on his own and then be waiting for him naked on the bed when he gets done with the bath. Your call!
   
   
4. Romantic dinner waiting.  Take seven heart shape pieces of paper and on each of the hearts write one thing you love about your significant other on each heart and then leave one heart on the front door and then have a candy trail of Hersey kisses around the house/apartment.  Leave one of the heart shapes papers on different objects that the kisses lead to.  The final place the kisses should lead is the kitchen table where you should have it set with your best dishes and candlelight.  The last heart should be on his plate.  Make his favorite meal and have it waiting.  He’ll love the chocolate trail and he’ll love the meal at the end!  You could even have a chocolate cake for dessert to go with the chocolate theme!
   
   
5. Write a message on the mirror with lip stick.  So when he shaves in the morning he will see it and be surprises.  It can say whatever you want “Here’s looking at you handsome” or even just big hearts.
   
   
6. Pack his lunch (yes, like your children if you have some) and put a special note in the bag (i.e. what you like about him, ten top things that made you fall in love).  Put his special snack in there as well (my husband likes chocolate).  We are all still kids at heart. 
   
   
7. Surprise him by filling his car up with gas and then put an odor hider in his car (most guys cars stink like sweaty socks or old lunches).  This will benefit you and him!
   
   
8. Buy a hammock and hang it up or use the kind that looks like a chair.  Place his favorite magazine and pillows on it.  Leave a note on the door he usually comes home from work through that leads to where the chair/hammock is and when he sees it and sits down and added something might be to bring his favorite drink/beer to him.  This is a great idea for Father's Day or his birthday.  It is all right to treat him like a king for one moment without his head getting to big!
   
   
9. Buy a keychain and put a heart attached to it with the message 'Key to my heart.' 
   
10. Do one of the chores that he is supposed to do (mow grass or take out the trash). Sometimes just helping out is romantic.  Wouldn't you want him to fold laundry or do dishes?

1. Have a scavenger hunt for her where the final destination is a hotel room for a night. Make sure you pack her bags and have everything in the trunk of the car where she can’t see it.  If you have the money you can buy her an entire waredrobe for the night you have planned.  Start the evening with a heart shaped note.  The note could read “Our adventure tonight is a journey date around the world because you are my entire world.  Take her first to different restaurants for different parts of the meal (an appetizer and drink at one restaurant, soup at another, a main course at another and finally coffee and dessert at another.  The restarurants could be Italian, Chinese, Korean, Greek, American, ect).  End the night at the hotel where you show her the packed luggage (for your trip/voyage) and enjoy. 
   
   
2. Have rose petals leading from the door where she come in and leading to the bedroom where you are waiting with message oils and creams to give her a rub down.  Have rose petals all over the bed as well. Rose petals smell good when she is lying there getting a message.  Have relaxing music playing in the background. You can put a different touch on it by buying those relaxing neck pillows that you heat in the microwave to relax strained muscles or those eye covers that you can put in the microwave or freeze to sooth eyes.  Just let her relax and know she is appreciated.
   
3. If you are able to spend some money, have her bags packed and in the car and surprise her by taking her to a hotel and dropping her off.  You watch the kids if you have children and give her a night just to herself.  Have a care package waiting in the room of a new robe and sleeping comfy pajamas, maybe some slippers and a stack of her favorite magazines and even a book.  Let her order room service and enjoy a night to herself.  Even if you don’t have children, a night alone is always appreciated.  Make sure you  pack in her bags a swimsuit and tennis shoes and slippers.  Let her order room service and not have to worry about a thing!
   
   
4. Take her car to be detailed or detail it for her.  Inside the car place a few new CDs that you got for her to listen to and maybe a few of her favorite candy/gum in the console.  Leave love notes around the car (above the visor where the mirror is, in the glove box, her purse, on her seat) Those notes could be something you like about her (the color of her eyes, the color of her hair, how she walks, how she looks)
   
   
5. You can do above scavenger hunt that is in romantic tip number four for a man.  Just make sure it applys to the woman!  WE love baths and rose petals also!  Make sure that the magazines are ones we like not those that you like! 
   
6. Take your honey to a park and push her on the swings.  Give her a 'under dog' and make her laugh like she did when she was a child (can also pack a picnic and have it under a tree).
   
   
7. Take a walk on a nature trail and collect items along the way that remind you of her and why (a green leaf reminds you of her beautiful green eyes).  You can also bring a piece of chalk and write your name and her name on the path with a heart or on a rock.  What woman wouldn't melt?
   
   
8. Sign up for dance classes with her.  Yes, you can be a man and still dance.  She will fall in love with you even more in your arms.
   
   
9. Roast  marshmallows by a fire with her.  Make Smores.
